What to Tell Your Clients (Copy-Paste Messages)

You've picked your three clients. You're ready to invite them. But now you're staring at your phone thinking: "What do I actually say?"

This is where a lot of coaches get stuck. Not because the app is hard — because the conversation feels awkward. You're asking someone to change how they receive their programming. That feels like a big ask.

It's not. Your clients care about their programme, not the delivery method. They just need to know what to do. Here's exactly what to say.

## Scenario 1: The Soft Pilot

Use this when you're trying the platform and want to test it with a few clients before committing.

> **WhatsApp / Text:**

Hey [Name], I'm trialling a new app for programming and workout tracking. Would you be up for testing it with me for a couple of weeks? I'll send you a link — you'll see your programme in there and can log your sessions through the app. Dead easy to use and it means I can see your workouts in real time. Let me know and I'll send the invite over.

> **Email version:**

Hi [Name],

I'm trying out a new platform for delivering programmes and tracking sessions. I'd love for you to be one of the first to try it — it'll let you see your full programme, log workouts, and I can review your sessions and give feedback directly.

If you're happy to give it a go, I'll send you an invite link. You just create an account and your programme will be there waiting.

Let me know!

**Why this works:** It's honest, low-pressure, and frames them as being part of something early. Most clients will say yes immediately.

## Scenario 2: The Full Switch

Use this when you've piloted successfully and you're moving all clients over.

> **WhatsApp / Text:**

Hey [Name], quick heads up — I'm moving all my programming over to Winning Strength Blueprint. You'll get an invite link by email. Once you sign up, your programme will be right there. You can log your workouts through the app from now on, and I'll be able to review everything and leave you feedback. Takes about 2 minutes to set up. Any questions just shout.

> **Email version:**

Hi [Name],

I'm moving my coaching onto a new platform called Winning Strength Blueprint. You'll receive an invite link — once you sign up, you'll see your programme and can log all your sessions through the app.

What this means for you:
- Your programme is in one place (no more scrolling through messages)
- You log your workouts directly and I can see your progress
- I can review sessions and leave feedback

It takes about 2 minutes to set up. If you have any questions, just let me know.

**Why this works:** It's matter-of-fact. You're not asking permission — you're telling them what's happening and making it sound simple (because it is).

## Scenario 3: The Post-Assignment Nudge

Use this when you've already sent the invite but the client hasn't signed up yet.

> **WhatsApp / Text:**

Hey [Name], just checking — did you get the invite from Winning Strength Blueprint? Your programme's all set up in there ready to go. If you haven't signed up yet, check your email for the invite link. Takes 2 mins. Let me know if you need a hand.

**Why this works:** Gentle nudge. Reminds them there's something waiting for them. Most clients just haven't got round to it — they're not resistant.

## Scenario 4: The Client Who Asks "Why?"

Occasionally a client will want to know why you're changing. Here's a simple answer:

It just makes everything easier for both of us. You get your programme in one place instead of messages and PDFs, you can log everything and track your progress, and I can see what you're doing and give better feedback. It's a better experience all round.

Don't oversell it. Don't list 15 features. Just: "it's easier for both of us." That's all they need.

## A Quick Note on Timing

Send the message first, then the invite. Don't just fire off an invitation email with no context — your client will see an email from a platform they've never heard of and ignore it.

The sequence is:
1. Send your WhatsApp/text message
2. Wait for them to say "yeah, sounds good"
3. Go to your dashboard, click **Add Client**, enter their email
4. They get the invitation and sign up

If you've set up default onboarding (assigned a programme), they'll see their workouts the moment they log in. No empty screen. No confusion.

## What's Next

Your three clients are on the app. In the next post, I'll walk you through what to expect in your first week — what you'll see on your dashboard, how to review logged workouts, and the moment it all starts to feel worth it.

---

*Your clients don't care about the platform. They care about their programme. Frame it that way and the switch is a non-event.*
